Having worked at Nu-Car for approaching 4 years, from its' inception at a single site in Southampton to its current position as the South's largest supplier of diesel-only cars, I was delighted to be offered the opportunity to run the new flagship branch at Farlington, Portsmouth.
This represents an exciting challenge to me, and I fully expect Nu-Car Farlington to become the premier supplier of used diesel cars in Hampshire. I am confident we will attract customers from not only Portsmouth, but also outlying areas such as Hayling Island, Havant, Chichester and Petersfield.
With up to 75 RAC inspected cars displayed in a newly created indoor showroom, customers have the freedom to browse without fear of the inclement British weather. Stocking a wide selection of the UK's most popular diesel ranges, including VW, Audi, Ford, BMW, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Renault and Skoda, we will enable our customers to make informed choices as to the best car to suit their individual needs. With the added benefit of our branch network affording a choice of over 120 vehicles in group stock, plus access to a selection of 8500 vehicles nationwide the choices are extensive, so whether it's a Golf or a Galaxy, a Focus or a Fiesta, our trained sales professionals are certain to assist.
Highly Trained Team
In keeping with the exacting standards already set at Nu-Car, we have a brand new team of highly trained professionals at Farlington. Sales executives Ged Allen and Billy McCormack have been with us since opening and are enjoying considerable success in the role. Bringing together many years of customer service experience, Ged from a hospitality and hotel management background, and Billy a former chauffeur to the rich and famous, coupled with our in-house training program, their futures with Nu-Car look bright. Sales administration is swiftly and capably dealt with by Karen Henderson, ensuring a smooth operation 'behind the scenes'. Martyn Turp, our newest addition, brings a youthful enthusiasm and energy to the sales role to complete the team.
Extended Test Drives
Our exacting training at Nu-Car ensures our sales team take away any customer fears or concerns throughout the car-buying process- buying a new car should be an enjoyable experience after all. Taking time to carefully value any potential part-exchange, we ensure we offer fair and justified values - often allowing much more than our competitors. In our relaxed showroom we then make every effort to understand the individual needs and desires of our customers, before carefully selecting the appropriate car (or cars) for demonstration. Another possibly unique Nu-Car service is to allow extended test-drives to all our customers - we firmly believe that a 'quick spin round the block' is not enough time on which to base such an important buying decision. 24 hour test-drives can even be arranged by prior appointment (just remember to bring your driving license!).
