Nu-Car Opens Its Flagship Store
Marc Handscomb and Julian Cole, the directors of Nu-Car, are proud to announce the opening of their flagship store on Fitzherbert Road in Farlington, Portsmouth.
The new store is the third and latest in the successful chain of diesel centres along the South Coast.
Nu-Car first opened the doors to its Diesel Centres in January 2003 in Shirley, Southampton. It quickly outgrew the original premises and moved to its current location on the Totton Causeway, Southampton in June 2004. In March 2007 it opened its Ringwood store to better serve the Bournemouth area.

But it is the new store in Farlington that the directors are particularly proud of.
The site will hold up to 75 diesel cars, all aged between 2 and 5 years old with the majority displayed indoors truly, allowing all-weather viewing.

Nu-Car prides itself on the quality of its vehicles. Its buyers scour the country on a daily basis and insist on only the very best vehicles for stock. Only cars with service history and one or two previous owners are selected for purchase. All vehicles are HPI checked to make sure there are no nasty surprises lurking in their past. The service history is also verified to ensure the vehicle has been properly maintained.
The vehicles are then transported to Nu-Car's unique Preparation Centre in Southampton, where they are processed for sale in accordance with its strict retail standard.
Each and every used diesel car is road-tested over a range of road conditions. They are then MOT tested and serviced where necessary and then independently inspected by the RAC. Finally they are professionally valeted and sent to the retail site ready for sale.
Drive Away the Same Day!
Because the vehicles are fully prepared before they reach the retail site, they are all available to be driven away on the same day. This is a feature that is particularly useful to the ever-increasing number of visitors Nu-Car draws from outside the Hampshire area.
